At Lindores Personnel we recognise that each client has individual requirements and our recruitment methodology has the flexibility to adapt to the specifics of each job brief. At all times we will provide robust and proven methodology to our approach and we will work closely with the Hiring Manager.

We utilise an innovative and dynamic candidate client management system specifically tailored to the unique requirements of our recruiters and applicants. The system allows the recruiter to identify any potential relevant candidates with an instinctive search function. We are able to flag any specific candidates that may potentially meet criteria proactively, to enable quicker response to incoming job orders.
Creation of advertisement copy and listing on internet job boards, social media applications, via our partnerships and networks and print media. Open days and Expression of Interest requests are promoted via these mediums, to allow our recruiters to assess available personnel for upcoming contract roles. Lindores Personnel then maintains regular contact (via email, SMS and phone) with the identified candidates to ensure we have their current availability noted and manage their expectations.
Skills Validation/Work Rights
Copies are requested for any qualifications/tickets and are stored in our database, with any expiry dates noted. All applicants are requested to provide proof of work rights in Australia. Working visas are verified via Visa Entitlement Verification Online and expiry dates are noted in our system for review. Candidates are provided with a privacy statement, Fair Work Australia forms and a handbook which details their requirements on site in terms of OH&S, payroll information and other handy tips.
Behavioural based interviewing against the agreed key competencies will be conducted by the recruiter and noted in our system.
We will provide candidate reports including CV, detailed profile including interview specifics, developmental areas, career aspirations and any requirements particular to the candidate if requested. For short term roles i.e. less than a week, this may not be required.
Working within client requirements and privacy issues for each party, interviews will be scheduled and confirmed for longer term temporary roles. For short term roles, this service may not be required.
Reference and Social Media Checks
We will conduct reference checks. Where possible we will attempt to speak with the candidate’s current manager. Social Media checks identify cultural fit, inconsistencies and authenticity, along with any trending health or lifestyle issues. If further comprehensive background checking/psychometric testing is required this can be arranged. We will advise applicants that they may be required to obtain a police check or pre-employment medical at their own cost, should this be deemed necessary for the role.
Confirm assignment and advise candidate of Personal Protective Equipment requirements
Candidate will complete any site specific inductions and OH&S inductions. Lindores Personnel utilises Workpro (www.workpro.com.au) for all inductions. WorkPro encourages competency-based learning and provides industry-specific induction content, including Work Health and Safety (WHS) and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) training that has been carefully crafted to offer a simple and easy way for an individual to complete their induction. Registration takes a few minutes, and each induction module is a maximum of 30 minutes long, including the competency-based assessment.
Workpro also has the option to upload and deliver any customised content, streamlining and enhancing the individual’s induction and on-boarding experience. Customisation options include hosting and delivering a specific course or courses, including competency- based assessment on your behalf. This system delivers not only specific induction procedures but also a thorough reporting and auditing process.
On site OH&S assessments will be undertaken by our key personnel if this is a first time supply, or repeated quarterly for sites already assessed by Lindores Personnel. All information is recorded in our CMS.
First day and ongoing quality checking – we will check with the client that the worker has arrived on time, with all their PPE in good working order. At any time should the candidate not meet the client’s expectations they may be replaced. In the first instance our standard procedure is to try and identify where there are discrepancies and address those in order to minimise any disruptions to the assignment if possible. If the issues can’t be resolved quickly and efficiently, then we will organise a replacement. Toolbox talks will be conducted around any updated OH&S, Environmental, HR or similar policies with the candidate.
Long term temporary assignments – our key personnel will conduct performance reviews with both clients and candidates, via face to face meetings where possible.
All feedback and conversations with both clients and candidates are noted in our system and any follow up that needs to be taken in terms of breaches of compliance will be addressed with the candidate.
Lindores Personnel has stringent internal codes of practice and all staff are expected to comply with our agreed policies and procedures, as this forms part of their employment contract and is reviewable every six months to ensure adherence.
Payroll is managed weekly and timesheets are required by 10am Monday (or first business day of the week) for the previous week’s work. Timesheets can be either faxed or emailed to Lindores Personnel’s payroll department and must be signed by the temporary employee and their authorised supervisor.
Invoices are prepared weekly and emailed to the requested contact. Our invoices can be customised to include purchase orders and vendor numbers if required.
Lindores Personnel utilises the Sage 300 construction package which is a powerful financial and operations software package allowing seamless integration with varying EBA’s and Modern Awards to calculate any additional costs such as travel, site or allowances pursuant to specific employment agreements. Invoices are able to be exported to excel if required.
Lindores Personnel include all relevant copies of timesheets with invoices submitted to clients, reducing any confusion around hours worked or charges applied.
